What a listing gives you
A listing is a permanent page on this domain, not a row in a spreadsheet. Each one carries your name, a written description of what you actually do, your website, your location and your category — and it appears on the category and location pages alongside it.

How links work here — read this before you buy
We mark paid listings as sponsored, and their outbound links carry rel="sponsored nofollow". This is deliberate and it is not negotiable.
Search engines have devalued paid directory links for two decades, and a directory that sells do-follow links at scale eventually takes the whole domain down with it. Marking them correctly is what keeps this domain worth appearing in. If you are buying a listing purely to pass link authority, buy something else — we would rather tell you that now than take your money for something that will not do what you hoped.
What a listing is genuinely worth: a real page describing your business on an established domain, discoverable by people browsing the category, with correct structured data and a link a human can click.
Who we list
- Companies and brands with a real trading presence.
- Websites and products with an identifiable owner.
- Studios, agencies, makers and retailers.
We list regulated and age-restricted sectors too — crypto and blockchain, CBD and hemp, gambling and gaming, and adult retail — and those carry a stricter check than the rest of the directory, not a looser one. To be listed in one of them you need a real operating company behind the website: a named legal entity, a verifiable trading address, and where the sector requires it, a licence or filing we can look up. Publicly listed companies and licensed operators clear this easily. Anonymous sites clear it not at all.
What that rules out, concretely: token launches and coin projects with no company behind them, “investment” offers and trading signal services, unlicensed casinos, and any health claim about CBD that a regulator would not let a seller make. The test is the same one we apply everywhere else — can we verify this exists and is what it says it is — but in these sectors we actually go and check rather than take your word for it.
On adult listings specifically: we list the companies — retailers, manufacturers and design houses with a real business behind them — and we do it in the same register as every other entry on this site. Every page here stays safe for work. That means no explicit imagery: logos and neutral images only, and a written description, not marketing copy. If your listing needs explicit images to make sense, this is the wrong directory and we will tell you so rather than take the money.
We also decline anything whose business model depends on the reader not understanding it, and anything we cannot verify exists at all.

What it costs
Two things are for sale here, and they are different. A listing is a permanent page. Featured placement is position: the top of the directory and the top of your category, in a larger card, for a year.
- Listing — $45, one payment. A permanent page at
thezooom.com/directory/your-name/, with your logo, structured data, and your entry on the category and location pages. It does not expire and there is nothing to renew. - Featured placement — $120 for twelve months. Your entry sits at the top of the directory and at the top of its category, in a larger card, above everything else in it. Limited to three at a time per category, because a page of “featured” entries is a page with no featured entries.
- Guest article on the blog — $65. Separate from the directory and quoted separately; see below.
Placing several at once? Listings have volume pricing, worked out on the number of listings in the order:
- 3 or more — $38.25 each (15% off)
- 5 or more — $33.75 each (25% off)
- 10 or more — $29.25 each (35% off)
They have to be ordered together, in one go, rather than spread across months. Featured placement is not discounted — there are only three per category, so the price is the queue. Guest articles are quoted separately and have volume pricing of their own; ask in the same email and we will price the whole thing.
We write the description at no extra cost, or we edit what you send. If your business does not belong here we will tell you before you pay, not after.
Guest articles
We also publish articles on the blog, separate from the directory, at $65 per article. Those follow ordinary editorial rules: they have to be worth reading on their own, and we edit them. Mention it in the same email if you want both a listing and an article.
